Pulux Machinery Co.,Ltd. is the previous Shanghai Book Stitching
Machine Plant which was established in 1951 and the key enterprise
of Chinese Machinery and Electrical Ministry. Shanghai Purlux
Machinery Co.,Ltd. was founded in 1993 and the foreign partner
is Purple Scroll Investment limited. UK of Morningside Group
USA. In respect of technology, process and key parts import,
it has extensive cooperation with many famous enterprises
from Germany, Italy, USA, Japan, Australia and Hongkong. In
May 1998, Shanghai Purlux Machinery Co.,Ltd. cooperated with
Shanghai Changjiang Machinery Plant to set up Shanghai Purple
Magna Machinery Co.,Ltd..
including 120 engineers. There is a modern product developing
center equipped with 21 CAD stations and other relevant
automatic systems. The CAD is in the process of developing
into CAM and CAPP . Its leading producing capability and
precision are ensured by about 15 advanced equipment such
as CNC machines and 3D measuring machine. MRPII management
conception is ongoing promoted.
It is a first class enterprise in Asia-Pacific area in
the field of specializing in designing, producing and selling
post-press machinery and special press. The products have
the characteristics of advanced technology and multiple
models. By the end of 1998, there are the following 10 serials
of products designed, produced and sold by itself:

Three-knife trimming serial:3 models

Its products' average market share is 80% and some of
them are close to 100% in domestic market. The machines
have also exported to Europe, North and South America, Africa
and Asia market. In recent 3 years, the increasing rate
of annual turnover has ranked No.1 in this field in China.
It pays great attentions to the quality and after-sale service.
In Nov.1997, it was awarded ISO9001 Quality System Certificate
by China Huaxin Technology Inspection Co.,Ltd. and Quality
System Registration FMRC,USA. In Aug. 1997, DQB404 Semi-automatic
Saddle-stitching Machine and LQD8E Combined Saddle-stitching
Line in Steel wire binding serial and JBB35A Perfect Binding
& Covering Machine and BBY40/5 Disc Perfect Binding
Machine in Perfect binding serial were carried on inspection
and modification in accordance with European quality standard
especial safety standard. Three of them have been completed
their inspection and approved the 'CE' certificate as per
Europe Machinery Director. Up to now, it is the first company
which was approved the 'CE' certificate for its full set
of machinery in China. In order to grow up to be a world
level enterprise, Shanghai Purlux Machinery Co.,Ltd. will
go on the international quality inspection.
